Basic 911
In basic 911 (or VoIP 911), a 911 emergency call made from a Sogetel hosted telephony set is routed to a third-party emergency call centre, which automatically or manually routes the call to the nearest emergency call centre. The user of the hosted telephony service is responsible for maintaining up-to-date information on the physical location (civic address) of the telephone set.
