Yes. Since the system is hosted by Sogetel, you’ll receive updates and new features as they’re rolled out, ensuring your telephony system stays at the cutting edge of technology.
Hosted telephony requires a high-speed internet connection at minimum. The phones connect to your company network. To meet high-quality telephony standards, some of your networking equipment (switches or routers) may need an upgrade.
No phone line is required for the hosted telephony service. However, certain analog devices connected to your current PBX system may require an analog line. It is possible to connect these devices to your new telephony system, but in some cases, using an analog line may be recommended.
You will need to acquire phones from Sogetel, either by renting or purchasing them.
Since the telephony service is hosted, there are no hardware or capital expenses required to acquire the system.
